Welcome to StuFlo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StuFlo's website, dashboard, Chrome extension, integrations, AI assistant, and related services. By using StuFlo, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
StuFlo provides software that helps students manage academic workflows using AI assistance and integrations such as Canvas LMS, Google Calendar, Telegram, and other supported tools. StuFlo may retrieve academic information, summarize it, answer questions, and perform calendar actions when you request them.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your StuFlo account, email account, connected third-party accounts, and devices. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. StuFlo is intended for users who can legally agree to these Terms.
3. Connected Services and Permissions
You may choose to connect third-party services such as Canvas, Google Calendar, Telegram, and Stripe billing. You represent that you have the right to connect those accounts and authorize StuFlo to access or act on them as needed to provide requested features.
For Canvas, StuFlo may use a browser-based connection or the StuFlo Canvas Connector Chrome extension to validate and store an authenticated Canvas session. You must not use StuFlo to access Canvas accounts or academic systems you are not authorized to access.
For Google Calendar, StuFlo may read calendars and events, check availability, create events, update events, or move events between calendars when you request those actions. You are responsible for reviewing calendar changes.
4. Academic and AI Output
StuFlo is an assistant tool, not an academic advisor, school official, emergency service, or guaranteed source of truth. AI-generated answers, summaries, schedules, reminders, and recommendations may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. You are responsible for verifying important deadlines, grades, assignments, policies, and calendar events with the original source.
5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
Paid features are billed through Stripe. Subscription prices, trial periods, renewal timing, cancellation, and payment methods are managed through Stripe Checkout or the billing portal. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable and cancellation stops future renewal rather than refunding past charges.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use StuFlo for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.
- Violate school, Canvas, Google, Telegram, Stripe, or other third-party terms or policies.
- Attempt to access another person's account or data.
- Interfere with, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass security limits of StuFlo.
- Use StuFlo to submit assignments, impersonate others, cheat, or violate academic integrity rules.
- Share access tokens, session cookies, or credentials except through approved StuFlo connection flows.
7. Service Availability and Changes
StuFlo may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. Some features depend on third-party services that we do not control, including Canvas, Google, Telegram, Stripe, hosting providers, email providers, and AI infrastructure. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, data changes, or access restrictions from those services.
8. Privacy
Your use of StuFlo is also governed by our Privacy Policy at /privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy explains how StuFlo collects, uses, stores, and shares information, including Canvas session cookies, Google Calendar data, chat content, billing metadata, and integration data.
9. Intellectual Property
StuFlo, including its software, branding, design, text, workflows, and related materials, is owned by StuFlo or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of StuFlo. You retain rights to your own data, subject to the permissions you grant us to operate the service.
10. Disclaimers
StuFlo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StuFlo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed deadlines, academic consequences, service interruptions, or third-party service issues. StuFlo's total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to StuFlo in the three months before the claim, or $100 if you did not pay StuFlo.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will show when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of StuFlo after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
